In the shoes of an AHS Accountant
Numbers are fun, and so is Rebecca Chang. After graduating from Andrews University, she has worked as an accountant at AHS for about 1 ½ years. She also worked as a student worker at AHS for four years in high school.
The typical day of an AHS accountant consists of a variety of activities! Rebecca describes the main duties as the posting of daily journal entries, the processing of daily transfers and the reconciling of monthly statements.
She was attracted to work for AHS because the Christian work environment, the location, and all the cool people that she already knew that were employed there. Rebecca enjoys her job because she is constantly challenged and growing.
When not at work, you can find Rebecca exercising or reading a good book. She’s a morning person and is at the gym at sunrise!
Rebecca describes herself as committed, consistent and understanding. A future goal that she has for herself is to learn to fluently speak Mandarin.
I met Rebecca in the lunch room and she is the sweetest person ever. I feel so blessed to have her as a friend and to have her at AHS!
